Rivermead Cottage is a super holiday cottage nr Looe Cornwall. This traditional double fronted Cornish cottage is set within the 17 acre Rivermead estate, a wonderful privately owned estate which visitors are welcomed and encouraged to explore. The cottage combines wonderful traditional features -beams, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove, original doors etc with the modern amenities we all welcome when on holiday. Guests will find the beautiful grounds a fantastically peaceful spot for quiet relaxation away from busy roads and tourists, there are wide open spaces for recreation or lovely walks around the lake and along the river through the woodland. Permits are available for the salmon and trout fishing on the river and fly fishing is available on the lake. The South Cornish coast is easily accessed by car at Looe, Fowey, Polperro and Polkerris all in approximately 20 minutes as well as many other pretty seaside villages along this lovely coastline. The very popular shopping park at Trago MIlls is also only a very short drive away where an independent butcher, greengrocer, and newsagent, amongst others shops, can satisfy the day to day needs of visitors to the cottage. Rivermead is a quality cottage in a wonderful setting which would be difficult to better.
